Ingredients
- 2 cups diced green beans
- 2 tablespoons palyada pudi
- 1 tablespoon oil or ghee
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1-2 dried red chilies (optional)
- A pinch of asafoetida (hing)
- 1-2 sprigs curry leaves
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish (optional)

Cook the beans:
- Steam or boil the beans until they are just tender but not mushy. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Tempering:
- Heat oil or ghee in a pan. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- Add dried red chilies, curry leaves, and a pinch of asafoetida (hing). Sauté for a few seconds until fragrant.

Add Beans:
- Add the cooked beans to the pan. Stir well to coat them with the tempering.

Add Palyada Pudi:
- Sprinkle the palyada pudi over the vegetables and mix thoroughly. Add salt to taste and cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the spices to blend with the vegetables.

Garnish and Serve:
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves if desired.
- Serve hot with rice, chapati, or as a side dish.
